Impossible game: Nyala
A self-initiated project on July 2018
We hear a lot about gamification as a way to make people perform repetitive tasks more easily without frustration adding rewards and badges and other game dynamics.
But what happens if we try to invert the parts and bring life dynamics into game?
The game doesn’t work, and from this frustration comes the identification between the player and the real problems that the game represents.
Nyala –that means antelope and is also the name of the capital of South Darfur– in is a little girl that needs to reach a source of clean water. It is 5km far, each click makes she run for 1 meter. Can you beat the game?
